Juhee Jane So
Juhee Jane So is a filmmaker and director from South Korea. Juhee received her MFA in Cinema from San Francisco State University in 2018. Her freshman film, 2050: A Room of His Own, produced at San Francisco State University, garnered local attention, and a nomination by the Director’s Guild of America Student Film Awards. In 2015, 2050 was an official selection in CAAMFest, the largest Asian-American Film Festival in the US. Her thesis film, Maelstrom, received a post-production grant from the Berkeley Film Foundation in 2018. Juhee is currently working on her first feature film in South Korea. Juhee's first feature script, 'Affinity' is inspired by the prose by the same name written by Pi Chun-deuk. The script was the finalist of Dong-A Shinchoon Moonyae 2021. Juhee is currently working as a producer/ director in Seoul, South Korea.
 
 
소재인 감독은 2005년 한겨레 영화제작학교에서 처음 영화제작을 공부하였으며, 이후 2012년 미국 샌프란시스코 주립대 영화과 석사과정에 합격되어 본격적으로 영화를 공부하였다. 샌프란시스코 주립대 재학중 첫 학년에 만든 2050, 그 혼자만의 방 (2050: A Room Of His Own)이 CAAMfest 2015년에 공식 상영되었으며, UC Berkeley에서 주관하는 Bay Area Student Film Awards에서 공식 상영되었다. 이후 졸업작품인 난파선(Maelstrom)은 버클리 영화재단에서 2018년에 후반작업 후원금을 받았다. 소재인 감독의 첫 장편 '인연'은 동아일보 2021 신춘문예 시나리오 부분 파이널리스트로 선정되었다. 소재인 감독은 현재 한국에서 프로듀서/ 감독으로 활동하고 있다.
